Good for HER
Marc….
Well, he was insistent on coming over again tonight, but I had a rare night with no work tomorrow and no baby to get up with. I was getting shit done around the house.
“Your clit is so wonderful,” he said. “Can’t you take a break? Talking to you is making me so horny. I wish I could do it rougher for you. You like it rough?”
I relented and told him he could come over, get in my bed and sleep, and fuck me before he went to work in the morning, but that was my only offer.
But he got here and wanted to TALK. About REAL stuff. So we bullshitted about life, and his isn’t all that interesting, though his voice is really nice to listen to. Knowing he is getting a divorce and was here in my house technically cheating on his girlfriend he “didn’t love the way a woman should be loved,” I just flat out asked him: “Did you ever cheat on your wife?”
“Yes.”
“Did she know?”
“Why do you think I’m getting a divorce?”
WOW. So, he sat down and told me the story about how he would get home from work at midnight, and she’d have taken care of all three kids, fed them, put them to bed, and was TOO TIRED to fuck him. I mean, he didn’t say exactly that, but I could read between the lines.
And this wasn’t just a one-time thing. It started when his kids were young. His oldest is 21 now.
“You have to go now,” I told him.
“I understand. What, you can’t now?”
“I’m not going to be some piece of meat for you.”
“What was it? That I cheated? Because I wasn’t satisfied?”
“Did you talk to her about it?”
“She was always too tired. She fell asleep with the kids a lot and would only come to my bed at 4 in the morning.”
“Did you ever put the kids to bed?”
“I read to them once in a while. When I was around. A guy can only take so much.”
“Wow, good for her. OK, I’m sorry. You have to go.”
“There’s two sides to every story.”
“And you just told me hers. I’ve been that side of the story.”
“Yeah, I’m probably not what you need right now.”
NO FUCKING SHIT.
The one time I NEED a date…
A pair of free hockey tickets fell into my lap today, and first instinct was not, hey, my dad might like to go, or I wonder if I can line up a sitter… it was which boy do I feel like meeting??
So this morning I replied to all the messages that have been languishing in my in-box. I didn’t directly ask anyone to the hockey game. But it gave me a chance to review what is on my plate as far as potential dates. And I’ve decided I would really like to give Tony a try. He’s 35, single, no kids. That would be refreshing. I mean, I love kids, and I don’t mind someone having kids, but it is a ton of work, all that schedule coordination, and it would be nice to have someone who is free at the drop of a hat when you’re horny at 2 a.m., you know?
Yeah, so I’m looking into the future a little, LOL.
I’ve never asked a stranger out on a date though. This should be interesting.
But I’ve waited all afternoon for someone to email me back… and hell if I haven’t been getting carpal tunnel from hitting the refresh button.

wow. you’re 34? you look 24. seriously. i’m diggin’
it! it makes me sad to see so many people our age who
seem to think turning thirty means looking old and
frumpy. i don’t think that way. not that i’m vain at
all, but most girls i meet guess i’m 28-29. i usually
tell ‘em i’m 35. i’m not one to be deceitful. no fun
it…
is that a baby seat in the background? if so, that’s
cool. i’m not afraid of a girl with kids at all. it
usually means they actually responsible and that’s
important. are you divorced?
and the blond thing was pretty funny. i’m blond too.
i think there really is something about bein’ blond
that makes us a little dippy sometimes…
lookin’ forward to getting to know ya-

Hi Tony… sorry for the delay. I have been so busy at
work with holiday deadlines and trying to get my yard
together before it starts snowing!!!
Yeah, I get that a lot, too… that I look young.
Unfortunately that’s getting to be less and less
though, LOL. It was annoying to be 25 and get
carded… but now I get offended if they don’t ask.
Yes, I have two kids… my daughter is 6, my son will
be 1 next month. Now did I scare you off? LOL I am not
married, but I have been.
So what do you like to do for fun? Any plans for
Thanksgiving? Write back when you get a chance. I
promise I’ll try to keep up!!

hi Maddie,
glad to hear from ya. no, i’m not scared off by the
munchkins or divorce. i’ve never been married, have no
kids but there’s nothing bad about having them in my
mind. just tells me that most likely you know how to
be reliable and that’s important.
don’t worry about taking too long. i’ve been a little
flu-ish last few days. still feel rough, but getting
better i think. won’t be able to be as clever as i’d
like just now but wanted to say howdy anyhow.
yeah, i think i’ll try to see my family in WV for
TurkeyGorgingEvent. I try to get there a few times a
year and get my rural on…lol
you still look young! don’t let those asshole clerks
get ya down! i’d card ya
i’m like you…i get a
lil bugged that they let me buy liqour without even
asking now, but that might just be cuz of my furry red
beard
you from the area? how long have you been divorced?
i’m looking forward to gettin to know a bit about you.
feel free to ask anything of me!

Hi Tony… hope you are feeling better. WVa, huh? Is
all of your family there?
I was actually born there while my dad was on a
brief transfer. I grew up here, and I lived in
Florida for 10 years after graduating college, and
I’ve been back a couple years now, in [Xxxxxxx].
Where are you? What brought you here? And I know this
is an odd one… well, maybe not that odd… how tall
are you?
Do you like any sports? Boxers or briefs? LOL… ok…
enough with the interview….
Maddie
